My dear friends...
We continue this week in our extraordinary exposition on how to move into what I have been calling The Holy Experience. Last week we said here that meditators are often told that a good way to begin their practice is to listen to the sound of their own breath. Move deeply into the sound, meld with it, become one with it.
Training ourselves to listen to the sounds of life and to seek Resonance with life is a wonderful beginning on the path to Non-Awareness of the Self. We...
Reader Question:
Dear Neale, Could you please let me know how to practice the "Gut level clarity" or "faith"? Could you please give me some tips how to develop it. Thank you so much.
Regards, Manish
Neale Responds
Dear Manish: Do not seek to have "faith." Seek to move to a place of "knowing." There are three levels of awareness...
1. Hope
2. Faith
3. Knowing
If you "hope" a thing will happen, you are allowing as to how it might not, but you sure hope it does.
If you have "faith" that a...
My dear friends...
In discussing The Holy Experience in this Weekly Bulletin we have explored many approaches, including, most recently, the aspect of life that I have called “non-awareness.” Last week in the Bulletin I offered a vivid “real life” explanation of this phenomenon. If you missed that edition of this publication, I hope you will find a way a to go back and take a look at it.
Today I would like to embark on an expansion of The Five Tools of Non-Awareness....
Reader Question:
Dear Neale: There has been something rolling around in my thoughts for some time. Maybe you can help me with some direction. I know prayer is wonderful. I often put myself in a prayer mode just to capture that Love feeling. I do pray. However, if things happen perfectly in our "perfect universe" then what are we praying for? I mean, does prayer change "what is?" Please help me to understand more about prayer! I wish you love, and I give you thanks.
Sincerely, heart...
My dear friends...
I said here last week that attaining a state of Non-Awareness is about the shift from the Mind to the Soul—which knows all about the Tightrope of Life...as well as what is awaiting us on The Other Side. It knows that we can make it across the span without difficulty if we simply don’t look down. It knows that in God’s Kingdom, “everything is looking up.”
It also knows that on this tightrope, as in most circuses, it’s okay if you fall....
Reader Question:
Dear Neale:..In your books God states that we need nothing. It's a wonderful idea. When we need nothing then we are truly free of cares and anxiety. We have peace of mind. But is it realistic?
Yes, I can see how we need nothing to exist. Life continues forever. I have no fear of death. From all accounts death is a wonderful experience. But there are many more horrible things than death like slowly starving and living homeless, which you've had experience with.
How can we...

As you know, we have been discussing here the moments in life that I have called The Holy Experience. The connection with Life’s True Joy, Real Purpose, and Ultimate Reality is what we have been calling that. As I said here last week, this is an experience not covered by the prior data of most human cultures, traditions, and religions. True, many of these cultures, traditions, and religions offer a facsimile of it, but few, if any, have brought us reliable data about...
Reader Question:
Hi Neale... I had to put down the Trilogy when I got to the part about your many questions on love, marriage and open marriage with God. I guess because I've been damaged and hurt in this area through my most recent marriage (marriage and divorce #3 for me). I had to let that information settle for a little bit before going back to the conversation. It made more sense after putting it down and picking it back up a couple days later.
My questions is this: in realizing a...
My dear friends...
As you know, we have been discussing here the moments in life that I have called The Holy Experience. And in last week’s installment I said that there are ten instruments by which any person may have such an experience. I said that the Ten Instruments are divided into two types: Physical Tools (described fully in the preceding chapter) and Spiritual Tools (which I will describe here). I have alternately called these two types The Five Tools of Awareness, and The Five...
