History

As a result of the extraordinary worldwide response to the material found in the With God series of books, a large number of people have expressed interest in creating and opening a CwG Center in their community. These people tell us that they envision such a center as a place where people who fundamentally agree with the principles found in Conversations with God, as well as those who want to learn more about those principles, may gather for discussion, additional learning, and deeper exploration of the CwG messages. In addition, we have heard that many of the centers offer other personal growth and spiritual enrichment activities, including yoga, meditation classes, and interfaith symposiums, as well as community healing, reconciliation dialogues and rituals.

Current Center Activity

Over 50 such centers have been spontaneously created in cities across the globe. We have been amazed and inspired by the emergence of these centers, which have not been suggested, requested, or sponsored by the ReCreation Foundation. All CwG Centers are independently owned and operated by groups or individuals in their home communities. These centers have no administrative or financial relationship with Neale Donald Walsch or the Recreation Foundation. It is therefore not necessary to obtain permission from us, or anyone, in order to open such a center. Some of these centers are run as non-profit organizations and others as profit-making ventures. We have no control over programs,operations and activities undertaken by CwG Centers. We spiritually and philosophically support any outreach effort or undertaking in the world that reflects the ideas, concepts and messages found in the With God book series.
