Daily Thought

When your choices conflict-when body, mind, and spirit are not acting as one-the process of creation works at all levels, producing mixed results. If, on the other hand, your being is in harmony, and your choices are unified, astonishing things can occur

(Celebrating 19 Years since the publication of Conversations with God, Book 1)

Dear Conversations with God readers:

We are a small non-profit whose purpose is to share the messages of CWG. With a staff of 3 to serve the world, we work hard to keep our costs down. Like any other business, though, our expenses include rent, programs, salaries (very modest), and such things as computer maintenance, upkeep of our web site, etc. We will not run ads on this website, as we refuse to "co-opt" these wonderful messages in that way. And so, we rely solely on donations from you to support our many free programs such as: Books for Friends/Prison Outreach, the CwG Chapel, CwG Study Group listings and educational offerings like CWG Day-to-Day, Spiritual Renewal Retreats, and our on-line course. If everyone reading this right now chipped in what you feel good with on a monthly basis, we could meet our expenses. If the messages of CWG brought you benefit, we hope that you will help keep us going for another year. Please click here to make a donation.

My Dear Friends,

My Dear Friends... I think we have to differentiate between fear and caution. When I have said in earlier entries here that I no longer have much fear of anything I did not mean to indicate that I never exercise caution. Indeed, just the opposite is true. In my life I often exercise caution. Looking both ways at the intersection before I enter the walkway has nothing to do with fear. It is the simple exercise of common caution. Reading the label on prescription medications or diet formulas or even canned soup has nothing to do with fear. It is a simple exercise of common caution. Fastening my seat belt after sitting down on the airplane or before starting my car has nothing to do with fear. It is a simple exercise of common caution. Living a fearless life does not mean living a life in which caution is never exercised. I want to make that clear, because I have heard some people in the so-called New Age Movement in decrying the use of what I would call common caution. More...
