Daily Thought

Your whole life is a message, did you know that? Every act is an act of self-definition. Every thought is a film on the movie screen of your mind. Every word is voice mail for God. Everything you think, say, and do sends a message about you

Disappearing 'Revenge'

A Note from Neale

Hello my wonderful friends...

Movement into the Holy Experience can be a matter of will, not just a matter of luck. It is something that can occur spontaneously, yes, but it can also occur intentionally.

We do not have to wait for the Holy Experience to fall upon us like some magic rain from a mystical heaven. We can cause the Holy Experience to be a part of our own daily encounter with life, part of our own daily experience of our Most Holy Selves, part of our daily expression of Divinity Itself.

What I'm saying here is that the Holy Experience can be created as well as awaited. I have said this before, earlier in this text. As with many of the other points I have made, I am repeating it here for emphasis. That little bit of poetry is something that we might beneficially put to memory, so let me repeat it: The Holy Experience can be created as well as awaited.

When we choose to create it as an active demonstration of our will when we look into the face of humanity every day, we understand how the Holy Experience relates to the human experience called "family."

Of course, we could not begin to see all the human beings as members of our own family unless we could begin to forgive all other human beings for what we imagined them to have done to us. Forgiveness is essential to the experience of family.

Now the New Spirituality teaches that forgiveness is never necessary. It tells us that God never forgives us for anything, because God finds nothing in our behavior for which we have to be forgiven. This is because God can neither be damaged nor destroyed, nor hurt in any way whatsoever. Since God is incapable of being hurt, God is incapable of being vengeful. For what would God seek vengeance?

When all human beings see themselves as expressions of the Divine, all human beings will also understand themselves to be impervious to hurt or damage. They then, too, will find themselves incapable of being vengeful. For what would they seek vengeance? What reason would they have to yearn for revenge when they have never been in any way injured?

The idea of revenge disappears when the idea of our injury is dissolved. And the idea of our injury is dissolved when the idea of our own divinity is embraced. This is the threshold of a new way of being human. This is the borderline between the New Spirituality and the old way of experiencing ourselves and God.

And we will continue this discussion in our next issue.

Hugs and Love,

Vision of Our Weekly Bulletins:

Through the years the Weekly Bulletin and its articles written by Neale Donald Walsch have become a favorite in the email boxes of thousands of readers around the world. We are pleased to present in this space, in addition to Neale's newest articles, occasional selections from the very best of his past writings for this publication. We do not wish our scores of readers to miss any of these commentaries, showing us the way to apply CWG in our daily lives. Whether a new presentation or an encore printing, we trust that you will receive much value from these writings from the man who brought us Conversations with God.

Letters to Neale:

Reader question:

I have always enjoyed your comments to the letters you received. I found them very insightful and surely helpful to the writers. However, in an older bulletin I feel that in your reply to “anonymous” who was physically abused by her own son and lived with a potential threatening husband you may have missed the most important lesson life is offering her:

Suffering from being “surrounded by violent, controlling men” means that these men are physically acing out the very thing that the person is doing secretly to themselves. In other words, someone who is persistently physically abused is a person who is beating herself/himself up inwardly for something they think he/she should not have done or failed to do. If you read her letter again you will see the many points where her inner guilt comes through. The outer world always reflects our inner world.

Of course, it may be helpful to now tell the truth to everybody. But not unless she deals with her inner guilt will anything change. She has to discover for herself that all the actions she did (or not did) in her past have eventually been helpful to her and her growth. Even the most “horrible” act she thinks she might have done has another side to it – because everything is balanced. She has to see that we cannot create “bad” without “good” and that every negative has an equal amount of positive. Otherwise the whole universe would unravel within milliseconds.

Once she becomes inwardly aware of this universal truth her guilt may change to deep appreciation and even Love. Once this happens and she no longer beats herself up inwardly, life will no longer send her “abusive, controlling” men. She will then see that these men specially came into her life to reflect to her what she was doing inwardly to herself. They are angels in disguise – as you call them – and they undertook a very difficult mission to help her to kick her guilt once and for all.

Much love,

Neale Responds:

Dear Hans... Thank you very much for your observations. In my own response to Anonymous I did not try to assess what might be the Root Cause of her experience, as that would require me to get into what I call Soul Analysis. That is something that I rarely do, as I do not feel I can know enough about the soul of another from one email. So I personally think that it's dangerous and may not serve the moment to get into a sure and certain statement of Cause, and probably far more beneficial to offer a comment on what might be done to face the situation, and to alter it.

May I add to that, Hans, that I am not sure that I totally agree with your observation, which, if the logic were extended, would seem to suggest that every abused person in the world has been abused because they, themselves, have been consistently beating themselves up for something they have done or failed to do. I think that this is an "instant diagnosis" that may fail to take into account the myriad of other reasons that a soul, at the level of spirit, may be co-creating particular physical realities with others.

My knowing is that our spiritual interrelationships can be far more complex and intricate, far more "spiritually sophisticated," than we might earlier in our lives have imagined. There are, for instance, true "saints" who come to the earth simply to play certain roles in the lives of others, in order to bring those others particular experiences that they could have no other way. Children who die very young come to mind as one striking example. And there are other examples I could give you. We celebrate the birth of one such example each December.

I do believe, as do you, that we all create and co-create our own realities, but I do not think that there is some "one size fits all" formula by which we can determine the reasons that certain things happen to certain people... i.e., arthritis = inner anger; heart disease = emotional deprivation; controlling, abusing men = unreleased inner guilt, etc., etc.

Having said that, your comments about all of us letting go of ANY guilt that we may have about a yesterday... as you say, about something we may have done or failed to do... are very, very well taken.

Those remarks could beneficially be heeded by all of us, for I dare say I know very few people who are not plagued by inner guilt about one thing or another... and I do agree with you, profoundly, that this guilt, long held in consciousness, play their effect in some way or another in the health of our psyche and the outcomes we produce in our lives.

I am just not sure that there is a direct cause-and-effect relationship in every instance between harboring old guilt and having controlling/abusing men in one's life, and so I was not ready to make that off-the-cuff diagnosis in this case. I know plenty of women who harbor tons of old guilt who have perfectly wonderful husbands.

I love your willingness to look deeper, though, Hans. Thank you for that exercise. Perhaps if you used the word "perhaps" in your commentary, it might not feel so dead-on certain, and thus so potentially self-indicting to the person receiving this insight. Does that make sense? Perhaps if you back off just a little from the, "Well, here is the problem, right HERE," energy, you may be more likely to make your point. Think so?

Hugs and love,

CWG on Relationships

March 27-29, 2020

A 3-day exploration of the most meaningful aspect of every life
with CWG messenger Neale Donald Walsch

"There is no more important aspect of anyone's life than the human interaction we call 'relationship.' Without an important relationship with something or someone, we are nothing." This statement comes directly out of the Conversations with God dialogue. It is only through our relationship with those we love — including, hopefully, ourselves — that we can express and experience the wondrous joy of life.

Neale Donald Walsch is once again presenting a full-scale spiritual renewal retreat focused specifically on the subject of relationship. He is doing so again now, in response to the many requests he has received from CWG readers to share his understanding of how the messages of these extraordinary dialogues may be effectively applied to what can be for many among the most challenging experiences in life: their relationships with their Significant Other, with their children and other family members, and even with their bosses or colleagues at work.

Neale will work in a direct and very personal way to help members of the group deal in a new way with whatever frustrations or circumstances that may now be facing them — as well as to create the relationship of which every person dreams, and how to transform a present relationship into a joyous, fulfilling, and rewarding experience. You're invited to join us for three days and evenings that could alter your experience of relationship forever for the better.

DATES: Friday, March 27 through Sunday, March 29, 2020.

FLEX-PRICING DETAILS: We are happy to share our Flexible Pricing Options for this and other similar workshops. All you have to do is select the price that you feel is most appropriate to you given the value you place on such a program and your own financial means.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE: All of the proceeds made from this event, after the considerable costs of presenting it, will go back into bringing the CWG messages into the world.

Please click on one of the following options to select your price:

This Flex-Price Plan is our response to the economic conditions that have affected many people around the world. We know that everyone will be fair in determining what payment is appropriate for them. Please keep in mind that your personal travel, food and lodging expenses must be paid by you.

We can offer these flex-pricing options for our programs, but we cannot, of course, ask airlines, hotels, and restaurants to offer you their services for greatly reduced prices, or for free.

SCHOLARSHIPS: By instituting the Flex-Pricing Options we have eliminated the need to offer partial scholarships, because a person can now self select an appropriate price option that is a fraction of the full ticket value. For those who feel they still require a "full ride" scholarship, we have instituted a special wait list to our Annual No Fee retreat. Those who sign up for this wait list will receive the No Fee Retreat announcement email 24 hours before the general public, thus giving this wait list a chance to register before this fast-filling retreat hits capacity (which it typically does in 24-36 hours). You can join that wait list HERE.

LOCATION: The event is held in Medford, Oregon, at the Rogue Regency Inn & Suites. Hotel accommodations are not included in the regular price of the conference registration. There are rooms available in the facility where the retreat is taking place (the Rogue Regency Inn & Suites) at the discounted rate of $89/night for single or double occupancy. For reservations, please call 541-770-1234 and request the "Conversations with God" group rate. To receive this group rate, reservations must be made well in advance. Persons reserving rooms very near the program start date will be quoted the hotel's regular room rate.

The Rogue Regency features a full service restaurant offering vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare, beauty salon, barbershop, massage therapist, indoor heated pool, spa, terry bathrobes and feather pillows in all guest rooms, with optional two-room suites with hot tub and fireplace at a slightly higher price, plus free transportation to and from the Medford Airport (MFR), five minutes away. Call them to arrange pick up: 541-770-1234.

PROGRAM AGENDA: Times are approximate. This is a rough schedule and subject to change.

PLEASE NOTE: We gently ask that persons attending this retreat plan to attend every session from beginning to end, leaving the room only during regular break and meal times.  Persons who miss an entire session of the retreat will miss so much of its content that it will be extremely difficult to reenter the program beneficially.  Therefore, if your health circumstance makes it not possible for you to be in the room for three-hour sessions, this retreat may be too rigorous for you.

Have you been looking for a way to implement the Conversations with God messages more fully into your daily experience? Do you love the CWG books but could use some one-on-one help applying their highest guidance in your life? Would you simply like to have someone in your life to share this profound material with? Then Wisdom that Works: The CWG Online School is for you!

Neale Donald Walsch invited Annie Sims to create this program and work with you online to assist you. Annie has personally trained with Neale since 2005. She serves as secretary/treasurer of the Conversations with God Foundation, as co-facilitator of a bi-weekly CWG Spiritual Study Group in Los Angeles, and as one of five CWG Life Coaches personally chosen by Neale. She shares in a light-hearted way many stories of how she has used the concepts to transform her life as well as many of the seemingly miraculous events she’s experienced along the way. Annie is a firm believer in how the CWG books have changed her life for the better, and she loves sharing how you too can use it.

The Wisdom that Works curriculum covers Conversations with God’s 25 core concepts in three learning levels:

Level One explores the most fundamental messages of CWG with its courses "The Basics" and "Creation and Purpose."

Level Two expands upon them with some of the more controversial messages of CWG in "Dispelling A Few Misconceptions" and "Larger Understandings."

Level Three encompasses some of the most advanced concepts from CWG in “The Power of Threes” and “Moving Beyond the Illusions.”

Each learning level consists of eight lessons, and each lesson is followed by Self-Reflection Questions and Action Steps. You post your answers online, then Annie posts back with feedback on your work, gently guiding you in using that lesson’s concept and fine-tuning your comprehension of it.

All of your work is done online inside the program, and you go at your own pace. The lessons are neither time nor labor intensive, yet we suggest that you do only one per week, in order to fully embody that lesson’s concept before moving on to the next one. Each level consists of eight lessons, so if you choose to do all three levels at the pace of one per week, it will take you approximately six months to complete the program. You will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Your access to the program never expires, and you are welcome to refer back to it for years to come.

You may sign up for one level at a time for a cost of $120 each. Or save 20% by signing up to take all three levels in the program, for a total cost of $288. Whether you sign up for only one level or all three, Annie will be with you every step of the way.

"Wow, Annie, I was so impressed by your lessons. Congratulations to you for achieving your dreams. It's so nice to be around company that believes that dreams do come true. Neale's newest book:

The Essential Path

Is it possible that everything we think we know about God, and what God wants, is wrong?

People everywhere are noticeably worried as they step daily into an “us against them” world, with people divided from each other as never before across political, economic, social, and spiritual lines. We're all asking, “What can I do? Is there anything the average person can do?” as we see the unifying fabric of our civilization being torn apart right before our eyes, separating many of us from our friends and even our loved ones, from our hopes and dreams, and from so much that gives meaning and value to our lives.

Sadly, we are turning against each other, rather than to each other, just when we need each other the most. But there is something we can do. In fact, we're all just one daring decision away from being able to make a major impact in changing directions.

In The Essential Path the bestselling author of Conversations with God, Neale Donald Walsch, offers a radical solution, peering into the heart of a broken, divided society and exploring the critical role that every person can play in returning to a place of peace, joy, and hope. While The Essential Path is a very short book, easy to complete in one quick sitting, don’t be surprised if you call it the most personally impactful book you’ve read in a very long time.
